TAN Ltd. who is the Turkey Distributor of Werner Kern Tanzschuhe, one of the oldest and well known dance shoes manufacturers of Europe presented the imported models in TANGUERA Showroom in Moda, Kadikoy, Istanbul on 3rd of November 2007.

Handan TANIR, creator of the TANGUERA® brand, conveyed her vast experience in textile industry as fashion designer into haute couture dance shoe design and manufacturing.

She registered TANGUERA brand and logo and became the first registered dance shoe designer in Turkey.

She started producing her own unique designer shoes incorporating impressive, bold color, texture and material combinations in her studio and became one of the favorite brand among dancers with her comfortable, durable products.

Handan TANIR, who also designs performance and wedding shoes, is happy to share the satisfaction of her customers who experience the comfort of the custom made unique models they wear.

She organized the first dance shoes show with live models in Otantik Café and exhibited her models in a dance environment with dancers in Istanbul in 3rd of September 2008.

Her efforts and performance attracted the attention of the press and she appeared in daily papers such as Hürriyet, Milliyet, Sabah, Star, Saklambaç, Takvim, Kadiköy, Cumhuriyet and Kadiköy Life monthly.

She also was invited to a TV show program and shared how she started TANGUERA, her philosophy and products with the viewers in a friendly environment where a Tango dance performance was also exhibited.

TANGUERA is also discovered by dancers all over Turkey, from Izmir, Antalya, Mersin, Bursa, Samsun as well by dancers from countries like Dubai and Hungary. She is busy to fulfill the orders placed from all over the country.
